Biannual Meeting
Association for Applied Animal Andrology (AAAA)
"Male Fertility Evaluation/Andrological Assessment"
Sydney Conference and Entertainment Centre
Darling Harbour
August 28-29, 2010
The Association for Applied Animal Andrology (www.animalandrology.org) is an international organization which seeks to further understanding of male reproduction (andrology), specifically in animals which are of interest to mankind. It brings together representatives of science, industry, and education to focus on a wide spectrum, from maximizing genetic progress in livestock to preserving rare and endangered species.
The AAAA fulfils a unique role by facilitating direct dialogue between cutting-edge science, education, and the animal breeding industries within an international context. Its meetings focus on new and emerging developments in animal breeding knowledge and technology, emphasizing the contribution of the male.
The Association holds a biannual meeting, with every second one coinciding with the International Congress on Animal Reproduction (ICAR). Our meetings usually attract outstanding speakers who are world leaders in their respective fields. The 2010 meeting in Sydney, the first AAAA meeting in Australasia, will be held in conjunction with the meetings of the Australian Society for Reproduction (SRB) and Endocrine Society of Australia (ESA).
The 2010 meeting will include plenary papers, regular papers, and posters. On Sunday afternoon, a symposium will be held in conjunction with the SRB/ESA; the latter organizations will continue to meet until September 1. Attendees of the AAAA meeting will be able to register/attend both meetings if desired.
